Old People Body Suit by Nissan
April 16, 2008 Category: Vehicles No Comments »
Car manufacturer Nissan Motors has created an ‘old suit’ to help the company develop cars that are better suited for it’s aging customers. Associate chief designer Etsuhiro Watanabe says the suit helps " by putting young designers not only in the minds of the mobility-challenged, but also in their bodies." The suit decreases mobility as well as vision for those lucky enough to wear it. The ‘old suit’ is already quite interesting in it’s current use; to me, this concept seems like something police would get a hold of to create an over-the-top drunk goggle suit. Anyway, at least someone is thinking about those "expert" drivers that have been "driving since before I was born" and "still deserve to be on the road." All that is left to do is make a suit to improve their driving skills. [Wired > Reuters]
