This is shaping up to be quite the Star Wars afternoon. Here is a Star Wars collection of traditional Japanese Tenugui, which are commonly used as wash cloths, hand towels, or for construction workers, headwraps. At the moment, these are available in 10 different flavors. The author of the post points out what looks like R2-D2 flying over Mt. Fuji; I have to agree–classic. Here is a neat painting of a Star Wars ‘last supper’ made by using frames from the entire six movie collection. Artist, Avinash Arora, used 69,550 frames to create this 262-megapixel masterpiece, which took him two weeks to complete. Follow the link for the artist interview with Gizmodo’s Jesús Díaz. [Giz]

R2-D2, everyone’s favorite Star Wars droid is now a bad ass case mod. Unfortunately, no one has figured out the complicated inner workings of R2; just get a motor in there and I think this mod could be well on the way. The creator put some time into the design and the input panel shots really show it. There is no information on the what kind of PC innards this mod sports, but hit the link to see more images and the backside considerations I am talking about. [The Contaminated]
